Terms Overview
By inviting NexuSec to a Discord server or interacting with its features and web dashboard, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and Discord's Terms of Service & Community Guidelines.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Guild Owner", or "Administrator") and the NexuSec Development Team regarding your access to and use of the NexuSec Discord Bot, API, and Web Dashboard ("Service").
To use NexuSec, you must be at least 13 years of age (or the legal minimum age required in your country to use Discord). By using NexuSec, you affirm that you meet this age requirement and have full power and authority to enter into these Terms.
2. Description of Service & License Scope
NexuSec provides multi-functional Discord bot capabilities, including high-fidelity audio streaming via Lavalink, music queue management, invite tracking, guild level systems, and server management tools.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to invite and utilize NexuSec within Discord servers you own or manage.
3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
You agree to use NexuSec strictly in accordance with all applicable local, national, and international laws, as well as Discord's Developer Terms & Community Guidelines.
Strictly Prohibited Activities
- Exploiting bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities in NexuSec to cause service disruptions or bypass rate limits.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy NexuSec bot code or proprietary software APIs.
- Using NexuSec to stream copyrighted audio or media in violation of intellectual property laws or platform terms.
- Automating rapid command spamming, bot raiding, or abusing command execution to overload bot infrastructure.
- Utilizing NexuSec for harassment, hate speech, illegal distribution, or malicious server raids.
4. Server Administrator Responsibilities
Guild Administrators who invite NexuSec are responsible for configuring permissions, welcome messages, and moderation roles appropriately within their server.
Server owners must ensure their server members are aware of bot features and data processing as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All rights, titles, and interests in and to NexuSec—including bot software code, graphics, branding, logos, website design, and documentation—are the exclusive property of the NexuSec Development Team.
Trademarks, third-party logos (such as Discord, Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud), and external media assets belong to their respective owners.
6. Service Availability & Disclaimers
NexuSec is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% continuous uptime.
We reserve the right to modify, update, pause, or discontinue any feature, command, or service aspect at any time for maintenance, security upgrades, or server optimization without prior liability.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the NexuSec developers, maintainers, and host providers shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:
- Loss of data, server configurations, or track queues.
- Temporary service outages, API disruptions, or Lavalink node disconnects.
- Actions taken by server administrators or third-party Discord users.
8. Access Termination & Guild Blacklisting
We reserve the right to terminate access, restrict commands, or permanently blacklist any user or Discord server from using NexuSec at our sole discretion, without notice, if we determine that:
- The user or server has violated these Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- The server is engaged in illegal activity, bot abuse, or violation of Discord Community Guidelines.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" timestamp. Continued use of NexuSec following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
